Beach Feet

2023 - 8 MINUTE VIDEO

“Beach Feet” (2023) is an experimental video art piece using childhood home video, personal videos, and external media to explore how media has provided me with a variety of avenues to understand my sense of home, family, and identity. In my first two years at Oberlin, much of my work grapples with the overlaps of my changing relationships with my family, childhood memory, and my queer and trans identity. Righthand video was shot in my hometown, Plymouth, MA, at Long Beach, in my family’s Red Honda Pilot, and at my house.
